Mini-meditations

Do you believe that you can’t meditate?  That you can’t stop your mind from racing?  Or that you’re simply no good at it?

The thing is, anyone can meditate.  It’s not about ‘doing it right’ or stopping thinking altogether. All it takes is a few simple techniques and establishing a regular practice.  Research shows that beginners can learn to meditate effectively in just a few sessions and will soon reap the rewards.

Spring Mini-meditation Series

The Spring collection of three mini-meditations are perfect for people who say that they can’t meditate.  For the first ten days, follow the 5-minute meditation at least once a day, possible twice.  Then we’ll offer a 10-minute daily meditation, then build to 15-minutes.

Thanks to Victoria Kasunic for creating these meditations, helping you to achieve even more this Spring.  The simplest option is to listen to the meditations through your computer or mobile device each time.  Another option is to save it as an MP3 file and take it somewhere peaceful on an MP3 player.  Whatever helps you to settle into the meditation.  Enjoy!

5-minute mini-meditation

Click here to try the first mini-meditation.  There’s a 2min30 introduction that you’ll only need to listen to the first time (but you can use it each time if you find it tricky to settle). And then five minutes of guided meditation and an ending section.

10-minute mini-meditation

Click here to access the 10-minute meditation.  By now we hope you’re finding it easier to settle and that you’re feeling the effects of daily meditation – enjoy.

15-minute mini-meditation

Click here to access the 15-minute meditation.  After progressing through 5- and 10-minute meditations, 15 minutes will be a lot more manageable than it would have been a few weeks ago.

By committing to regular meditation, you can expect to experience:

Reduced stress
Greater peace of mind
Sharper concentration
Better immunity
Improved sleep
Relaxation
Protection against depression
